The Pinnacle penthouses on Oberon St in Sydney's east have it all; a pristine waterfront view and a central location with easy access to Coogee Beach and Wylie's Baths. Pinnacle is a stand-out luxury development spearheaded by DBK Property Group and Alec Pappas Architects, with interiors by Lexis Design, and lighting by Vibia - provided by Koda.

The Duo skylight illuminates the marble kitchen isle with fresh pools of light, designed to create an atmosphere of wellbeing by imitating the warmth of the sun. The steam-bent oak veneer within Duo's interior highlights the European oak floors beneath.

The Wireflow pendant is a sculptural addition to the space, hanging elegantly over the stairwell next to the dining area and providing the perfect ambient light by which to eat, drink and entertain. The simple geometric design of the Wireflow fits perfectly into Pinnacle's stylish contemporary interiors, emphasising the airy nature of the penthouse.

An expansive view that allows you to see out to Clovelly Point and as far as Ben Buckler peninsula in Bondi.

Denfair Melbourne 2019

22 July, 2019

Our three days in Melbourne passed quickly as we witnessed hundreds of brands exhibiting their newest and most exciting products. Guest speakers educated us on design philosophy, an awards ceremony celebrated the most engaging stands, and there was always plenty of champagne to go around. We loved the opportunity to showcase the new Occhio Mito linear and arc luminaires, demonstrating gesture control and height adjustment to an audience of design enthusiasts. Our Mito largo was the first ever on Australian soil.

We also brought our newest brand partner Areti on tour, giving everyone a chance to see their range of geometric designs and elegant bronze finishes. We'd like to give a warm thank you to the Denfair team for having us, and allowing us to be part of this unforgettable networking opportunity within the Australian design community. We’d also like to thank all of the interior designers, architects, renovators, developers and lighting lovers who stopped by to chat and enjoy the light. We couldn't have done it without our dedicated team of staff and collaborators. We partnered with dozens of people - contractors, retailers, engineers, manufacturers and of course our suppliers - in order to take our booth from concept to creation.

So, a big thank you to:
Bolon Flooring
Crow Furnishings
Walter Knoll
Mega 3D Signs
Andrew Massie from Flash Photobition
Will Armstrong from Strong Electrical Tri-Design
Alsop Engineering
Jimelka Painters
David MacDonald
Frenchies Logistics
Photographer Jackie Chan
… and of course our fantastic suppliers Areti, Occhio, Arkoslight, Vibia, Rich Brilliant Willing, Nocturnal and ANDLight. Here’s to another successful trade show.
We hope to see you all again next year!

Designfunktion from Bonn has developed an impressive combination of design, light and acoustics for Ströer News Publishing GmbH in Berlin. 240 Nimbus luminaires and almost as many Rossoacoustic PADs play a major role in the concept. The planning office used products such as the Rossoacoustic Pad R range and Nimbus Modul R Project luminaires in the new premises of Ströer News Publishing GmbH in Berlin as a way of representing the company's cloud philosophy. A nice idea as Ströer provides editorial content delivered from here to Ströer media, desktops and mobiles throughout the whole of Germany. Find out more about the project, which, among other things, features a tree house and a cinema integrated into the premises.

Vibia guise 4

In celebration of the biennial Light + Building 2018, Vibia partnered with Stylepark and e15 furniture to introduce a new product design collaboration with German industrial designer, Stefan Diez.

The event was hosted in the e15 Frankfurt showroom where a special installation of GUISE, designed by Stefan Diez, made an  impressive display alongside the e15 furnishings and chairs, also designed by Diez Lab.

In addition to the pendants and wall sconce Vibia debuted last year in Euroluce, a new version titled GUISE 2.0 was also presented.

This isn’t your nana’s hanging planter. Designed by Antoni Arola, nature and human engineering mingle with Palma, bringing a down-to-earth ambiance that’s as organic as it is striking. Glowing blown glass spheres sit in hoops suspended by thin steel cables, bringing a warm illumination while naturalising the living space. Takes the form of a wall fixture, pendant, chandelier, and table lamp (sans plant). Choose between matte white or graphite.

Vibia’s Guise makes use of the very latest in LED technology to create a luminous tubular pendant light- a simplistic design with sleek personality, crafted from precision-cut glass, and with optical sensor dimming which gives the user full brightness control without needing to lay a finger - minimal effort from you, maximum impact from Guise.

Guise also takes the form of a glowing wall-mounted halo. The harmony of glass and LED allows the fixture to keep a low profile until it’s activated, then radiating warmth from its circumference. Designed by Stefan Diez, and available in matte graphite finish.

Musa (‘Muse’) embodies a design that is slightly tactile, harmonious and reminiscent of a smooth river stone. A triple-blown glass opal diffuser sits within an aluminium bowl fixture which can be wall-mounted or placed within a shelving unit to create a gentle illumination which adjusts the atmosphere of any space. Musa also comes in a portable version with battery. By Note Design Studio. Select from a range of  matte white, mink and salmon lacquer.

Occhio launches Mito

14 December, 2017

Occhio presents the new luminaire series  of Mito. Artfully crafted, Mito is enticingly elegant and effortless. It is precisely this attention to detail that shapes the silhouette of the luminaire. The subtly defined cut is the characteristic feature of Mito and shows off the quality workmanship to its best advantage. Mito is available in six different mounting options. The new, refined warm tones such as bronze and rose gold are enthralling and put Mito on center stage in every interior design.

The suspended luminaire Mito sospeso is adjusted via touchless control right at the light source – the luminaire head. Thanks to innovative sensors, the luminaire can be turned on/off and dimmed via gesture control, and the fading function activated to continuously spread light between uplight and downlight. Alternatively, Mito can be adjusted with the Occhio air app or the air controller.

A new feature: color tune lets the color temperature be adjusted according to the situation. The light can thereby be set to match to mood – from a warm lighting atmosphere for a relaxed evening to an energising, cool working light. The light color is infinitely adjustable between 2700 and 4000K.

Mito can be delivered with a unique height adjustment feature as an option: Thanks to a sophisticated reel mechanism, the pendant length can be easily and precisely adjusted whenever necessary. The cables lengthen or shorten as if by magic, always in a completely even and smooth motion.
